System Response

The attempt to start a workflow for assignment process was terminated without results. The assignment process, if it has not already been created, is saved to the database.

When you have rectified the problem, restart the workflow for the assignment process with the function provided in the interface for manually managing assignment processes.

Procedure for System Administration

The reason for this error is often the incorrect agent assignment to the workflow template, for which the workflow is to be started, in this case . The agent assignment to a workflow template identifies all the users that may start a workflow.

You define the agent assignment to the workflow template with transaction PFTC.

  • Specify the task type Workflow Template and the identification of the workflow template .
  • Choose the Change function. In the Additional Data menu, you can classify the task as a general one via Classification -> Create. In this case, all the users can start a workflow for the workflow template. If this is not intended, you can make the required assignment by choosing Agent Assignment -> Change.
