Partner type '&' not permitted due to existing commission contracts

Diagnosis

The business partner type you selected is not permitted for the existing commission contracts.

Note

The commission contract partner can have more than one commission contract. The chosen partner type must have an assignment between the commission contract type(s) and the partnership type in Customizing for all assigned commission contracts in the validity period of the commission contract.

Note that more than one standard commission contract can be assigned to any one commission contract within its validity period

Note, also, that a standard commission contract can have different commission contract types within a specific period.

Procedure

• Assign the commission contract partner a partner type that is valid for the assigned commission contracts
• Request your system administrator to make a valid assignment between the partnership and the commission contract type.

Procedure for System Administration

Check the required assignment between the partner type and commission contract type in the assignment table.
