The length of currency field &1 is not allowed

Diagnosis
An error occurred when currency field was transferred from transfer structure BALTD to the SAP internal format. The currency field has a length that is not accepted by the program.
System Response
The asset is not transferred.
Procedure
Change the format of the currency field. A currency field is allowed to contain only the following: numbers 0 to 9, separator for thousands, decimal point and a positive/negative sign. You have to enter all numbers with decimal places (that is, 5.00 rather than 5). If there is a negative sign, it has to be after the number.
