The fiscal year variant is not suited for half-periods

Diagnosis
Fiscal year version is not suited for half periods, since it is not defined with 12 periods. In order to introduce half periods, you need a fiscal year version with 12 periods.
Procedure
You might need to use a fiscal year version with 12 normal periods for Asset Accounting, which is different to that of the general ledger.
Check the fiscal year version for Asset Accounting in FI-AA Customizing.
