Diagnosis
You want to maintain analysis variants for table analysis, or virtual fields for analysis variants. You must observe the following naming convention.
Procedure
All entries that do not start with 'Y' or 'Z' are in the SAP namespace. If these entries are changed in the customer system, this is considered a modification. The changes will normally be overwritten at the next upgrade. All other entries are in the customer namespace. Here, there are no entries that have been supplied by SAP.
