Diagnosis
You are using time-dependent depreciation terms in depreciation area . The scrap value in the related dependent depreciation area should be identical at every point in time. This is currently not the case.
The system tried to transfer the scrap value to the dependent depreciation area . However, this is not possible, since the intervals for the time-dependent depreciation terms are different in the two depreciation areas.
System Response
It is not possible to ensure that the scrap value in depreciation area is the same. The system is not able to automatically reconcile the fields.
Procedure
The system cannot automatically transfer the scrap value to area as long as it is not possible to uniquely assign each interval to an interval in depreciation area .
The following options are available:
- Modify the interval limits for time-dependent depreciation terms in depreciation area so that an automatic reconciliation with area is possible.
- Use the scrap value percentage instead.
