Diagnosis
Asset was reorganized after the posting date of the posting document. You are not allowed to post any additional depreciation to this asset in reorganized time periods.
System Response
The asset is not considered in this posting run.
Procedure
Check the last reorganization date of the asset in asset master record maintenance. Depreciation postings are only allowed in posting periods after this date.
Procedure for System Administration
You can set up the appearance of this system message according to your requirements. In Customizing, choose Asset Accounting -> Transactions -> Maintain Message Types.
You can find the application area and the message number in the technical information.
If you change the message type to "-", then the system no longer rejects a depreciation posting for the asset with a warning message. However, in that case, the user still has to check if the correct asset balance before the reorganization has to be transferred afterward to the account assignment object (such as profit center), because a complete transfer of the asset took place during the reorganization.
