Posting to special asset is not possible. Error in Customizing.

Diagnosis
The system settings specify that gain or loss from asset retirement should be posted to a special asset in the form of a write-up. However, according to the current settings this is not possible, because the depreciation types that transaction type is supposed to update are not managed in depreciation area in company code .
