Diagnosis
You want to post a transaction in accounting transaction category to asset . You did not enter a value date for the transaction. Therefore the system tried to determine the value date based on the specifications for accounting transaction category , but could not determine a value date.

Procedure
Either enter a value date for the transaction directly, or check the Customizing settings for accounting transaction category that are supposed to help in determining the asset value date.
