Diagnosis

You changed the depreciation terms in a depreciation area. This depreciation area is a reference depreciation area (according to its definition in Customizing) for one or more other depreciation areas. This means the other areas adopt depreciation terms from this area. The changes you made will only be effective automatically in the dependent depreciation areas if they are defined for mandatory identical adoption of parameters (the "Identical" parameters indicator is set). Your changes are not automatically adopted in dependent areas that are not defined for identical parameters to be copied (simple adoption of parameters with the option to change them).
