Diagnosis

You want to carry out a full settlement. However, the settlement date is within the period you want to settle. This is not allowed.

System Response

The full settlement is not carried out.

Procedure

Check your entries for the settlement period and correct the settlement period you have entered, if necessary.

If you wish to carry out an early final settlement, set the valid-to date in the selected settlement units accordingly.

The settlement date may lie within the period to be settled if all participating settlement units have a valid-to date that lies before the settlement date (current date). This is necessary, for example, if the business entity to be settled has been sold and a final settlement must be carried out before year-end.
