Diagnosis

You want to change or display standard BOM in plant . You have entered as the valid-from date.
This is not possible, as the standard BOM is not valid on .

System Response

The system checks the valid-from date of the BOM header.

Procedure

Please find out the validity period of the BOM.
To display the validity period, proceed as follows:

• Choose Standard BOM -> Display.
  Delete all values in the validity section of the screen by entering the special character "!" at the beginning of each field.
  Choose the Header qty/long text pushbutton.
• The next screen you see depends on the changes that have been made to the BOM:
• If the header data has not been changed with a change number, you see the Header qty/long text detail screen.
• If changes have been made with a change number, you see a header overview with the different validity periods.
