Diagnosis

You tried to create a new entry and used a key which lies within your reserved customer name range.

System Response

The system does not accept the key.

Procedure

Enter an allowed key.

You can look at the reserved name range in table TRESC using transaction SE16. Enter the following data for your search:

  • Object type: "TABU"
  • Table name: T418
  • SAP/Customer: "S" für SAP

In the Name range field, you see the alphanumeric start of the range, in the Upper limit field, you see the end of the range.
