Diagnosis
You want to change the definition of a BOM usage that is relevant to PM only.
When you enter material items for a BOM with this usage, the system does not check that the material exists in a specific plant.
System Response
Procedure
You can no longer change the definition of a BOM usage that is relevant to PM only, because:
- If you enter material items whose item statuses support use in other application areas (such as production), the system requires data that is specific to a plant.
- BOMs with the PM-specific usage already exist
Check whether you need to define a new BOM usage.
