Diagnosis

You want to explode the BOM for material with the change status denoted by revision level .
However, there is no revision level for this material.

Procedure

You can define the explosion data as follows:

Correct your entry in the Revision level field.
If you want to see an overview of existing revision levels for material , starting from the engineering change management menu, choose function Environment -> Revision level -> Display.
On the initial screen, enter material . You see a list of all the existing revision levels, each of which denotes a change made with a change number.
Enter a change number.
The system ignores both the valid-from date and the revision level in this case. The valid-from date is taken from the change number.
Enter the valid-from date only.
