Diagnosis
One of the following situations triggered this error message:
- The BOM is allocated to more than one plant. Different discontinuation data is defined in the different plants via the discontinuation indicator in material .
- You want to enter a discontinuation group.
- You want to enter a follow-up group.
System Response
Procedure
1.)
Check the material master records in the different plants. Define the same discontinuation data in all plants.
2.)
You can only enter a discontinuation group if the discontinuation indicator in the material master record (MRP 3 view) has the value 1 (main material to be discontinued) or 3 (subordinate material to be discontinued).
3.)
You can only enter a follow-up group if the discontinuation indicator in the material master record (MRP 3 view) does not have the value 1 (main material to be discontinued).
