Diagnosis
You are maintaining the item for material (plant ). You want to enter a discontinuation group for this material. However, discontinuation is not supported in the material master record (MRP data) of the material.
System Response
Procedure
You can only enter a discontinuation group if the material master record supports discontinuation. The discontinuation indicator can be either 1 for a main part to be discontinued or 3 for a subordinate part to be discontinued.
