Item category & requires you to enter a document

Diagnosis

You are on an item entry screen and have entered item category for an item.
The item category links the item to a specific SAP database table (such as document info record). Item category is defined such that you have to enter document data.

Procedure

If you enter an item with item category , enter the data of the document key (document type, document number, document part, document version).

You can cancel entry of this item by selecting the system-wide Cancel button.
