Item entry selected (first enter alternative)

Diagnosis
On the initial screen you chose function Goto --> New item --> 1/2-line. As you did not enter an alternative, but more than one alternative exists, the system does not know which alternative you want to enter new items for.
Procedure
You have two options:
- In the alternative field, enter the required alternative and choose function Goto --> New item --> 1/2-line again.
- Press ENTER. You see a list of all the alternatives. Select the alternative for which you want to create new items.
Choose function Goto --> New item --> 1/2-line again.
