Diagnosis

You want to delete one or more items, but have not selected the item(s).

Procedure

Select the item(s) you want to delete. Either select them by entering "x" in the selection list or use function key F9 on the appropriate lines. Choose your function again.

You also have the option of selecting all existing items in one step. To do this, choose function Edit --> Select --> Select all.
