Diagnosis
You want to allocate the BOM for a material that was configured with reference to configurable material in plant to plant
However, different BOMs for configurable material exist in plants and . For this reason, you cannot allocate the BOM to the plant.
Procedure
If you want to allocate the configured material to plant , the configurable material must have one BOM in both plants. You must delete the second BOM.
To do this, proceed as follows:
- Check the BOMs for the configurable material in plants and . Decide which BOM plant is relevant to both plants and which BOM you want to delete.
- Delete the BOM from one of the plants (change mode).
- Allocate the BOM for the configurable material to the plant in which you deleted the BOM.
- You can now link the BOM of the configured material to the plant you require.
