Diagnosis

You want to enter a BOM item with item category .

Options set via Customizing (BOMs) determine which items can be entered for each BOM usage.

As item category is relevant to plant maintenance, but plant maintenance items are not supported for the BOM usage, you cannot enter this item category.

Procedure

In order to enter an item with item category , choose a BOM usage for which plant maintenance items are supported.
