Diagnosis
You want to extend the BOM for a material.
The material is a configured material. The BOM for the configured material was configured from the BOM for configurable material .
The BOM of the configured material can only be extended by extending the BOM of configurable material .
Procedure
- Check whether the alternative concerned has been created for the configurable material.
- If required, allocate the BOM of the configured material to the alternative concerned (Material BOM -> Alloc. config. mat. -> Create).
