Diagnosis
You want to delete the BOM with reference to change number . The valid-from date defined in the change master is .
System Response
As the BOM becomes valid on this precise date, you cannot delete the BOM with the change number .
Procedure
If you want to delete the BOM you have the following options:
- Delete the BOM with a different change number on a later key date.
- In the BOM header, set the Deletion flag indicator. During the next archiving run the BOM will be archived and if required, deleted from the database.
