Diagnosis
You want to create a batch for a material with material type . In Customizing, you have defined that batches cannot be assigned internally or externally for this material type.
Therefore, you cannot create batches for materials with material type .
Procedure
Change the Customizing configuration for material type to allow the internal and external assignment of batch numbers for materials belonging to this material type.
