Diagnosis

You entered a transport target with incorrect syntax.

System Response

The input is rejected, or an error appears in the check log.

Procedure

Use the following syntax for the different transport targets:

  • Target group
    The target group begins and ends with "/". There must be at least one character inbetween.
  • Target system
    The target system must begin with a letter, followed by two alpha-numeric characters.
  • Target client
    Use the following syntax for the target client:
    <sys>.<client>
    <sys> specifies the SAP system
    <client> specifies a three-figure (numerical) client
