Diagnosis

Displaying files from this step of the LSMW is only possible for legacy data source files. A file on the front end is displayed using the standard editor of the operating system, and a file on the application server is displayed using the specified code page in the SAP system. This allows you to check whether the file in the specified code page is actually correct.

To display the read date file (*.READ) or the converted data file (*.CONV), use the LSMW steps 'Display Imported Data' or 'Display Converted Data' instead of the 'Display Data' button in this step.
