Documentation
Definition
Indicator showing that the user is able to select the stock type, for which physical inventory documents are to be created in the dialog.
Use
The indicator is only relevant if you want to create physical inventory documents for more than one stock type. If you only want to create physical inventory documents for one stock type (for example, stock type 1 - unrestricted-use stock), the user generally does not have the option of selecting the stock type. The indicator is not relevant in this case. If you want to create physical inventory documents for more than one stock type, the indicator has the following effect:
- Indicator is set
In this case, a selection option for the stock type is displayed in the dialog, allowing the user to select a stock type (from a maximum of three). - Indicator is not set
In this case, no selection option is displayed in the dialog, but physical inventory documents are created automatically for all stock types that were selected in Customizing for the store concerned. The function "Single Entry" is used here: if you do not set the indicator, you must select the stock type for each item.
Note
You cannot set stock type "1 - unrestricted-use" in Customizing; this is already selected as standard. You can, however, determine whether the store is to have the option of creating physical inventory documents for stock types "2 - stock in quality inspection" and "4 - blocked stock".
