Definition

Indicates whether the Portal Content Directory (PCD) page that starts one or several services is static or dynamic.

Use

Static PCD pages contain information about the service that is to be started. If you want to place more than one service on a portal page, use static PCD pages.

Dynamic PCD pages receive information about the services that are to be started via URL.

If you set the PCD Page Static indicator, the system does not append the following information to the URL:

• Directory Path
• Object Name
