Definition
The (optional) external express-delivery-company identification (ID) is used for communication with data providers.
First, a list of all the express delivery companies that the data provider recognizes appears in the Express Delivery Company Cockpit. Next, you choose one of these express delivery companies and then save and send that company's ID along with your communication to the data provider so that the data provider knows which express delivery company you chose.
The external express-delivery-company identification is superfluous for direct communication with the express delivery company.
