Express delivery companies use service codes to define which services they offer on the market. These services may include but are not limited to:

• Transportation speed
• Parcel contents
• Additional services

Example

• Economy rate (2nd-day delivery)
• Saturday delivery
• Parcel contents:
• Dangerous goods

You can maintain service codes either manually or by uploading them from an interface provided by the express delivery company.

Depending on the express delivery company's interface, you may also be able to distinguish between the service code and the product code.
