Definition

This indicator controls the assignment of certain item types to editions.

If you select this indicator, the following item types are assigned to the edition from the basic item (standard, trial or complimentary item):

• Redirection
• Charitable transfer
• Gift transfer

This takes place when alternative editions are used in the above item types.

Example

A subscriber takes edition X as their standard item. When the reader is on holiday, the national edition Y is redirected to them.
If you select this parameter, the redirection is assigned to edition X (from the standard item).
If you do not select this parameter, the redirection is assigned to your 'actual' edition Y.
