Definition
Indicator used to control whether the PDC procedure for mass processing is used in the store.
Use
If you set this indicator, all functions that are relevant to the PDC procedure for mass processing are displayed in the physical inventory application of SAP Retail Store. If you do not set the indicator, all the functions connected with the procedure are hidden.
Notes
During the PDC procedure for mass processing, physical inventory documents are sent to the PDC device in the store as a count worklist. Once counting has been successfully completed with the PDC device, the count results are sent back to the ERP system in the corresponding physical inventory document.
Important Notes:
- Note that the count results that are sent from the PDC device must contain a reference to the relevant physical inventory documents. If they do not, then not all the Retail Store functions can be used for the PDC procedure for mass processing. (In the inbound IDocs that contain the count results, the following fields must be filled: Physical Inventory Document (E1WVINH-IBLNR), Fiscal Year (E1WVINH-GJAHR), and Line Number (E1WVINI-ZEILI). This data is transferred when the count worklist is sent to the PDC device. See also the IDoc documentation for IDoc type WVINVE03.)
- Ensure that every inbound IDoc only contains count results for exactly one physical inventory document in the PDC procedure for mass processing. If this is not the case, you will not be able to use all the Retail Store functions for this PDC procedure. (Every inbound IDoc should only contain exactly one header segment type E1WVNH).
