Definition

Select this indicator to block subscription renewal at the customer's request, i.e. prevent issue of a further renewal offer for the subscription.

If no incoming payments are received by the expiration date, monitoring control terminates the subscription that is blocked for renewal.

The renewal block is preferable to termination for the expiration date since the expiration date is a variable value and can be changed by suspensions and redirections.

Customizing

From a technical point of view, a closing monitoring procedure is entered in monitoring procedure determination for subscriptions that are blocked for renewal. This monitoring procedure only includes the termination level and the closure level and any levels that generate a farewell letter.
