Definition
The posting date for clearing must not be before the posting date of the cleared items.
Use
The indicator influences automatic clearing and manual account maintenance if you have carried these out with the clearing reasons 15 or 08 defined for this.
Dependencies
For automatic clearing, the indicator causes the predefined posting date to be changed if items whose posting date is after the defined clearing date are involved in clearing. In this case, the latest posting date of the open items to be cleared is used as posting date for clearing. Statistical items - except for installment plans and collective bills - are not considered.
However, if there are clearing locks, the system always uses the original clearing date defined.
In manual account maintenance, the items posted after the defined clearing date cannot be cleared. This restriction does not apply to statistical items, with the exception of installment plans and collective bills.
