This indicator is inoperative at present.

Preliminary (inoperative) documentation:

This indicator is only significant if IS-M product master data is maintained as the media product master.

If the indicator is selected, the material number of the media issue is copied into IS-M as the issue number (and, if necessary, also as the ad insert number). (If this is the case, the material number of the media issue must have a maximum length of 10 characters.)

If the indicator is not selected, the issue number (and ad insert number if applicable) is assigned separately in IS-M by internal number assignment. Separate issue/ad insert number assignment in IS-M is generally not to be recommended.
