Definition

This indicates that manual changes made to existing sub-items are to be copied into new sub-items when these are generated if one sub-item exists before and after the new generation run.

Use

Data from an existing sub-item is usually only copied into a new sub-item if both sub-items have matching identifying attributes. These are dependent on the item type.
