Definition

If you select this indicator, you can also use the payment method for payments in foreign currency. The foreign currencies allowed for this payment method are maintained for the payment methods in the country. If no permitted foreign currency has been defined there, every currency is permitted.

Use

You may only set this indicator if you can transmit the currency key to the bank using the payment medium used.

This means, for example, you should not use it for checks bearing the local currency key or for payment methods for domestic data medium exchange where the currency field is not defined in the format description.
