Definition

Causes a dynamic determination of the period to be analyzed.

If this field has been selected, the systm will then dynamically determine the period to be analyzed from the current date. This is important if you want to read the data for the last three months, for example, in certain intervals. If the background job processing is initiated, data will always be read for the last three months from the current date. When creating the variant for background job processing, you can no longer enter an analysis time period and the selection fields for the analysis time period will no longer be displayed in the variant maintenance.

Do not select the field if you want to read data for a statistical analysis period, such as the first quarter of 1996.
