Definition

If you select this parameter, quantity planning is not performed for backdated order items to which the following conditions apply:

  • There are no issues in the backdated period
  • Schedule lines have not yet been created

In these cases, these items can be delivered if quantity planning is repeated after the issues have been generated for the past period or after the schedule line has been created.

If you do not select this parameter, the system marks the backdated items as planned in the above cases, even though delivery was not possible. Subsequent changes to issues or subsequent schedule line creation then no longer affects delivery of back issues.
