You use the archiving indicator to define, for each application area, how correspondence requests for the correspondence types for this application area can be archived or deleted.

Use

If you do not set the archiving indicator for the application area, correspondence requests for this application area are not considered during archiving or deletion with the tool functions. The application has to provide its own means of archiving or deleting correspondence requests.

If you do set the archiving indicator for the application area, correspondence requests for this application area are considered during archiving or deletion with the tool functions.
