If this indicator is set, this means that payment card authorization is necessary and has not been performed.
Use
The characteristic is set if payment card data was created for a billing datatset and one of the following points applies:
- No preauthorization was performed beyond the authorization horizon even though this was requested.
- No standard authorization was made within the authorization horizon even though this was requested.
- Authorization was unsuccessful.
The indicator is not set for successful authorization.
