Definition
Rate requirements are valid for the entire sales area.
They are used to control how orders that have not been excluded from contract handling by exclusion requirements should be handled.
A rate requirement, like all contract requirements is also defined by the elements in which booking units, ad types etc can be specified.
The contract indicator for the rate requirement determines how orders to which this requirement applies should be handled. Applicable rate requirements restrict contract handling for an order. If the "Qualifies for discount" indicator is not selected in an applicable rate requirement, the order does not qualify for discount.
