Definition

In the case of a fixed quantity price contract, a price will be agreed per unit of measurement rather than a price based on the standard contract discount granted. This is usually a price scale with prices that decrease as the number of orders sold increases. This is the opposite of discount scales where discount increases as the number of orders sold increases.
