Use
If this indicator is not active, the value found by the system using the input ID is usually displayed in upper case on the screen.
By selecting this indicator, you can ensure that the return value is displayed in lower case as of the second character.
This data means that a business partner can be created without the replaced word being saved in upper case and without it being necessary to overtype this in lower case before creating a business partner.
Examples of active conversion
DE ID code --> Detroit instead of DETROIT
NO ID code --> New Orleans instead of NEW ORLEANS
In the second example, the O of Orleans must be converted to upper case. Manual conversion is possible for these types of multiple names using the manual conversion field.
