Definition

Controls the selection of materials for which data is transferred to the vendor.

Use

The selection key is entered in Customizing in a control profile for transferring stock and sales data. The material data transferred is also defined in this profile.

You assign the profile to a vendor by maintaining the master data on one of the following levels:

  • Purchasing organization
  • Purchasing organization and plant
  • Purchasing organization and vendor sub-range
  • Purchasing organization, vendor sub-range and plant

The following settings are possible:

  • S1

    Data is transferred for all materials to which the profile refers.

  • S2

    Data is only transferred for materials for which the MRP procedure "Replenishment" and the planning method "1" (planned by external system) are set in the MRP type.

  • S3

    Data is only transferred for materials for which the "Vendor order entry" indicator is selected in the vendor master record.

  • S4

    Data is only transferred for materials meeting the requirements in both S2 and S3.

  • S0

    Data is transferred for all materials to which the profile refers, plus all other materials in the in the same material groups as the materials selected.
