Classification of the items in the warranty claim version.
Use
There are the following item types:
- MAT (Material): spare part with material master record
Choose the desired material number in field Material.
- SUBL (Sublet): external service. These are bills for services from third parties, for example, hotel bills, travel expenses etc. that have been incurred in the course of the repairs to the damage. The value of items of this item type can be entered explicitly and is not generally determined via pricing.
External services can, for example, have the dimensionless unit of measurement LE (service unit) with the value 1; this entry means that the item refers to exactly one bill.
Then choose the desired external service from the linked external service catalog in the field Key. In the field Amount, enter(manually) the amount of the bill.
- FR (Flatrate): labor value, service
Then choose the desired labor value from the linked labor value catalog in field Key.
- EXP(Exploding list): list of items that the claimant can call via a single key (for reasons of ease and clarity). For example, the items that belong to an inspection as standard default (mixture of labor values and materials). Subitems can be created using action A080 for exploding items.
An installation (IBASE), a task list or routing, a bill of services or a bill of material can be read as an installation. In the standard system, an installation of type warranty is read. You can link in other master data using BADI WTY_ITEM_GENERATE.
Then choose the required list in field Key. In the standard system, choose WY Warranty Object in the F4 help in the field for the installation type.
- TXT (Text): text item without pricing and catalog
