Definition
Version-specific and item-specific entry for a measuring point on a part (example: operating hours for a motor). When you save, an appropriate CS measurement document is created for this measuring point. The measurement documentis copied to the document flow of the warranty claim.
Use
The measurement reading is purely informative in character.
Dependencies
The reading that you enter here refers to the measuring point of the object that was determined on item level by the measurement position of the reference object. The reference object is an object that has been entered in Customizing and that serves as a copy template when creating a warranty object (equipment, vehicle or functional location).
The measurement reading does not change with following measurement documents at the same measurng point since it serves to document the history. It is linked directly to the version.
