Definition

Alphanumeric key that uniquely identifies a group of system messages in warranty processing.

Use

The messages appear in a sorted list according to these groups, under these defined group titles and as a result of automatic processes or mannually triggered check routines on version and item level in the warranty claim.

Note: if you create customer-specific groups in the customer namespace, you have to add them to the message log using function module WTY07_MESSAGE_PROCESSING. To do this, you have to include the groups in import parameter IV_DFLMSG.

Note: you can delete the messages for a group by using function module WTY07_CLEAR_DFLMESSAGES.
