Definition

Controls whether change documents are written or not.

Use

If you set this indicator, change documents are written; if you do not set it, the system does not write any change documents. The indicator is valid per warranty claim type.

Change documents are basically only written if you change a warranty claim that has already been saved. The system does not write a change document when you create a warranty claim.

You can display the change documents in the warranty claim by choosing the following menu path: Extras --> Change Documents.

Dependencies

Fields are only saved to the change document if the indicator Change Document has also been set in the data element for the field (tab page for entering additional parameters).
